Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, paid homage on the 27th anniversary of the massacre in Rezall\u00eb.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, the Acting President said that 27 years ago, here in Rezalle and in the surrounding villages, merciless massacres were committed by the Serbian regime.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn April 5th, 1999, in Rezall\u00eb of Sk\u00ebnderaj and in the surrounding villages, the extermination plan was implemented by the Serbian regime. On that day, that is, on April 5th, 1999, boys and men from the age of 13 to the age of 90, were separated from their families, robbed, forcibly removed from their homes, and then shot. But this was not enough for the Serbian regime; their bodies were abducted and mass graves were dug for their bodies in Serbia,\u201d said Acting President Haxhiu.<\/p>\n
She emphasized that the goal was to hide the traces of the genocidal crime, but the traces of the crime will never be hidden and the crimes of Serbia will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n
“They will remain forever in the memory of their families, but also in our collective memory.
