On the doorstep of their home, where life and safety should have reigned, members of the Berisha family from Suhareka faced the barbarity of Serbia’s genocidal regime. 49 members of this family, of whom 19 victims were under the age of 18, were brutally massacred, while their bodies were moved elsewhere and disappeared, in an attempt to hide the crime and erase traces of the truth.<\/p>\n
