The President reiterated the importance of these elections being held according to the highest democratic standards, in which Kosovo has already set an example.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Additionally, concrete steps towards the finalization of the President\u2019s initiative to conclude strategic agreements with the United Kingdom in areas of common interest, namely <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">defence<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">, security, and economy and trade, which were agreed upon during the visit of the British Foreign Secretary to Kosovo in April this year were also discussed in the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Further, she also expressed her gratitude for the continued British support for Kosovo and its citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\">\n<p><!--EndFragment --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
