On the eve of the local elections that will be held this Sunday in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Mr. Kreshnik Radoniqi.<\/p>\n
President Osmani emphasized the carrying out a peaceful, orderly and fully integrity electoral process, as the foundation of democracy and citizens’ trust in the country’s institutions.<\/p>\n
In this meeting, President Osmani placed special emphasis on the direct interventions that Serbia is making in local elections, a phenomenon repeated over the years, which is manifesting itself through vote buying, external interference, intimidation and violence.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Madam President strongly condemned the interventions of official Belgrade, calling for maximal engagement in protection of the integrity of the electoral process.
