The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, within the framework of the new cycle of consultations regarding the constitution of the Assembly, in light of the Constitutional Court’s Adjudication in case No. KO124\/25, held consultative meetings today with leaders of the following political parties: Guxo, Alternativa, ZSP, KDTP, IRDK, SDS, JGS, PREBK, NDS and the VAKAT Coalition.<\/p>\n
President Osmani re-emphasized that the implementation of the Constitutional Court Judgment is a constitutional obligation and this adjudication has clarified that the constitution of the Assembly within 30 days is an obligation and not an option.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, President Osmani reiterated her call to leaders to find a way out for the constitution of the Assembly in the spirit of cooperation and trust, as well as for the benefit of the civic and state interest, as soon as possible, and within the deadline set by the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n
President Osmani underlined that the lack of a legislature is creating an institutional vacuum that is causing the erosion of democracy and harming the functioning of the state.<\/p>\n
