Camp Bondsteel, June 30th, 2025 \u2014In an official ceremony held today at Camp Bondsteel, the transfer of authority took place within the Regional Command East of the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, from the US contingent of the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team \u2013 KFOR 34, to the successor contingent, the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team \u2013 KFOR 35.<\/p>\n
The First Gentleman, Mr. Prindon Sadriu, thanked Colonel Peter D. Helzer from the Oregon National Guard for his excellent service and the dedication of the US troops during his mandate in Kosovo, and wished Colonel Jonathan D. Lloyd from the Louisiana National Guard a warm welcome and success in leading the new contingent.<\/p>\n
