The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, paid homage today at the \u201cAdem Jashari\u201d Memorial Complex in Prekaz, on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the KLA Epopee.<\/p>\n
President Osmani said that today, like every year, we commemorate the Kosovo Liberation Army Epopee, which is dedicated to our joint commemoration in this times of freedom for each martyr, for each hero, for each fallen who gave his life for Kosovo, but above all, it is dedicated to the sacrifice, courage and unparalleled bravery shown by the Jashari family on March 5, 6 and 7, 1998, led by the legendary commander, Adem Jashari.<\/p>\n
“They fought much longer than just during the war years, thus becoming the emblem of the Kosovo Liberation Army and at the same time transforming the Jashari Towers into a fortress of freedom symbol, which even today defends Kosovo, protects its freedom, its independence and its sovereignty,” said President Osmani.<\/p>\n
According to President Osmani, from here, not only us as a generation that experienced the war, but also the younger generations, even our children, get inspired for the path ahead.<\/p>\n
