On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, the President of Hungary, Dr. Tam\u00e1s Sulyok, has sent a congratulatory message to the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, expressing his warmest congratulations to her and all the citizens of Kosovo.<\/p>\n

In his message, President Sulyok emphasized Hungary\u2019s support for the development and integration of the Western Balkans, appreciating the important political, economic and social reforms that Kosovo is undertaking on its path towards membership in the European Union.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are convinced that the reforms necessary to achieve candidate status for membership will be successfully concluded as soon as possible,\u201d he emphasized, expressing Hungary\u2019s engagement in supporting this process.<\/p>\n

President Sulyok also expressed his satisfaction with the stable development of bilateral relations between Hungary and Kosovo, especially in the field of economic cooperation. He emphasized that high-level exchanges between the two countries have helped strengthen mutual friendship and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
