The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, on the second day of her working visit to Germany, met with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.<\/p>\n
The discussions focused on the expansion of bilateral relations, current developments in Kosovo and the Western Balkans, as well as on the advancement of Kosovo’s integration in international organizations.<\/p>\n
President Osmani expressed her deep praise for Germany’s support to Kosovo in the process of liberation and state building, as well as in its Euro-Atlantic path.<\/p>\n
“Kosovo and Germany have a strong and stable partnership based on the common values of democracy, peace and progress. Germany is a strategic ally in Kosovo’s journey towards empowerment and international integration, and we expect to strengthen this partnership even further during the coming years” emphasized President Osmani.<\/p>\n
President Osmani has described the Berlin process as a powerful impetus for the European perspective of the Western Balkans.<\/p>\n
In this context, President Osmani has reiterated her full support for the agreements stemming from this process.<\/p>\n
At the meeting with President Steinmeier, President Osmani also pointed out the role and contribution of the Albanian diaspora in Germany, which is a powerful bridge for the relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n
