The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the KFOR Commander, Major General \u00d6zkan Uluta\u015f.<\/p>\n
The latest developments in the field of security, including the opening of the Ib\u00ebr bridge, were discussed at the meeting.<\/p>\n
President Osmani reiterated her position that the issue of opening the bridge should not be a topic of dialogue process with Serbia. Madam President stipulated that the opening of the bridge, as an act of normalization and integration is in the interest of all citizens, irrespective of their ethnicity. In this regard, President Osmani stated the importance of consultations and coordination between our institutions and our security partners, especially NATO, in order to build a joint implementation plan for the opening the bridge to all traffic, which takes into consideration security assessments and the interests of our citizens.<\/p>\n
