On this day, we proudly remember all those who never stopped working for the fatherland, those activists, those intellectuals, those warriors, those laborers, those farmers, those ordinary citizens who each in their daily life and work contributed to our major national issue, which is at the same time also a human issue, a matter of civilization, as is the freedom and self determination of the people.

Honored Ambassadors and representatives of the Diplomatic missions in Kosovo,
Honored citizens of the Republic of Kosovo,
The independence of the Republic of Kosovo, which was declared four years ago, is an extraordinary one century commitment and effort, it is the result of the work of many generations, who worked and sacrificed themselves on the altar of freedom for us today to be free, equal and dignified with the other peoples of the world.

The Republic of Kosovo, a sovereign and independent state, has its guaranteed and internationally recognized territorial integrity, has full subjectivity of the international representation, like all other states, equally and in full reciprocity.
The Republic of Kosovo is an indisputable and non-negotiable fact, is already an accepted reality, estimated as a factor of peace and stability and which is considered as the most appropriate and the only solution.
The Republic of Kosovo develops bilateral relations with a number of states, while in the advancement of neighborly relations it has become a good example which is respected and honored.
All the citizens, without distinction, see the future of Kosovo in full integration into the European Union, NATO and the everlasting friendship with the United States of America.
The freedom and independence of the country is gained with the commitment and the work of many activists, with the glorious war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and with the unsparing support of all the people of Kosovo. This victory has been achieved with strong international support, of our friends, first and foremost of the United States of America and the European Union countries, and the military intervention of NATO to stop the genocide and forced displacement and to remove hegemonism permanently from this part of Europe.
Honored citizens,
Our country has achieved success in all areas and our future is secure, as a country with a developed democracy, with an economy that uses the resources and thinks about the future generations and especially with an educated and literate youth, able to work and contribute to our motherland.
Dear members of the Kosovo Security Force,
We are proud of the transformations of the Kosovo Security Force. We have created an efficient corps, trained for all emergency situations, but also for humanitarian and peacekeeping missions.
The Kosovo Security Force so far has successfully performed all tasks assigned. It has met all the operational capacity and is fully ready to move to the next stage our country requires.
The Kosovo Security Force has the respect and gratitude of the people for search and rescue operation with the fall of the avalanche in the village Restelica.
The Republic of Kosovo, since 1999, has built the Police Force as a reliable institution which enjoys the greatest respect and honor for the professional work in service of all citizens.
The Kosova Police is skilled and trained according to the highest European standards and is providing tremendous contribution in the preservation of public order and safety as well as effective prevention and combating of crime.
The Republic of Kosovo, has of its capacities in the field of order and security always in function of rule of law and order, respecting the rates and the highest standards in the field of the protection of Human Rights and Freedoms.
These capacities are interconnected with NATO, with the European and international security structures, contributing to the construction of the global security architecture.
We take our country forward with dedication, with understanding, with the aid of solidarity towards each other, with selfless and professional work, with responsible approach towards work, learning and commitment, each contributing in its field, where he is fixed and where he is valued.
Kosovo shall be just as we want it.
