Prishtina, January 31st 2019 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, paid homage today at the Zahir Pajaziti’s statute, on the 22nd anniversary of the heroic martyrdom of the Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zejniullahu and of Edmond Hoxha.
The head of state highly praised the vision and the courage of the three heroes of the nation.
“They began the resistance for liberty and independence, with a very clear vision and position. With their courage and vision that made all of the people, the whole nation, come together, and to obtain the support of the international community”, said President Thaçi.
“Today we are paying the highest state respects, for our commanders, by continuously show institutional respect, by praising and affirming the values of the war for liberty and independence, and at the same time to obtain the new energies for our future dedications to NATO and European Union Integrations and to strengthening of our eternal partnership with the United States of America”, said President Thaçi.
