The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has said that the green agenda
was an integral part of the discussions in the meetings held in the framework of the
official visit to Austria.

“As a country that is day by day committed to leading the promotion of green policies, both nationally and locally, Austria remains an appropriate address to address and discuss today’s challenges in the field of environmental protection, the greening of public spaces and urban planning, waste management, and the most updated practices in the field of sustainable development”, said President Osmani.

The green agenda was an integral part of the discussions in the meetings held in the framework of the official visit to Austria.

As a country that is day by day committed to leading the promotion of green policies, both nationally and locally, Austria remains an appropriate address to address and discuss today’s challenges in the field of environmental protection, the greening of public spaces and urban planning, waste management, and the most updated practices in the field of sustainable development.

Starting from the meeting with the Minister of Climate Action, Environment, Energy,

Mobility, Innovation and Technology, Mrs. Leonore Gewessler, the meeting at the Secretariat of Energy, as well as the visit to the waste treatment plant – Spittelau, also one of the iconic buildings of the city of Vienna, we realized that investing in green policies is not only the right decision, but also the wisest one.

Committed to advancing the green agenda in our country, we will be committed to policies that are in step with the latest developments and for investments that ensure economic development without harming the environment.
