The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani expressed her congratulations on the Constitution Day of Kaçanik.
President Osmani said that the Constitution of Kaçanik is the cornerstone of the legal order of the state of Kosovo.
“Three decades ago, the dream of generations for the state of Kosovo took shape. First the Declaration of the 2 nd of July, 1990 and afterwards the Constitution of Kaçanik made Kosovo a Republic, they gave meaning to the early call, our cause for freedom, democracy and state”, said the President.

The Constitution of Kaçanik is the cornerstone of the legal order of the state of Kosovo.
On this historic day, we are grateful to the women and men of Kosovo, who 31 years ago had the knowledge, vision and courage to approve the Constitution of Kaçanik, the substantial document, which commenced the creation of the constitutional and state identity of the Republic of Kosovo.
Inspired by the ideals of freedom and democracy, the delegates of the Kaçanik Assembly bravely challenged the repressive actions and brutal threats of the Serbian regime, becoming a guide in our journey for the freedom and independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
