The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has cast her local elections vote today at the Technical Faculty polling station in Prishtina.
President Osmani said that this process is extremely important for the lives of our citizens.
“Today our citizens, without distinction, at every corner of our country and in every municipality, vote for the quality of their lives, vote for their municipalities, vote for the leadership which will determine how the life in the municipalities where they live will be like, ” said President Osmani.
The head of state called upon all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to participate in this election process in as large a number as possible.
“I call upon them to participate in this election process in large numbers, to demonstrate once again that the citizens of Kosovo are the ones who in the first place enable, and in the second place protect every democratic process, every free and fair process and that has to do with their lives. “I hope that today the election process will proceed without incident,” emphasized the President.
She wished successful work to the media and called for the measures to be respected.
“It is also important that they normally come out in large numbers, but at the same time that the measures are respected so that the health of our citizens is a priority over priorities,” said President Osmani.
