The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani – Sadriu accompanied by her husband Prindon Sadriu, Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca, and Prime Minister Albin Kurtihosted an iftar for the leaders of the Islamic Community.
On this occasion, President Osmani congratulated the pious who during these days had the courage to prove their sacrifice and solidarity, these two human values that have characterized us for generations.

Iftar is a unifying dinner, with room for everyone. Tonight, together with Prindon, and with the heads of institutions, Speaker of the Assembly Konjufca and Prime Minister Kurti, we welcomed the leaders of the Islamic Community to iftar, with the strong belief that religion in our context is harmony, coexistence, solidarity, faith and goodwill.
Congratulations to the pious who during these days had the courage to prove their sacrifice and solidarity, these two human values that have characterized us for generations. Tomorrow the cycle of fasting will end, as a day later we shall be congratulating each other on the feast of Eid, with best wishes for good fortune and prosperity!
In hope that God will accept the prayers of all those who fasted during this holy month, I wish that the feeling of solidarity with all our citizens prevails throughout the whole year.
