President Osmani said that we are here today on November 28th, to honor the sacrifice of many generations, which culminated with the proclamation of the Independence of Albania in 1912, but continued with great sacrifices of Albanians everywhere for freedom.

“Therefore, we commenced the day today with the legendary commander Adem Jashari and the Jashari family to honor their sacrifice, because November 28th, in addition to the symbolism of the declaration of independence of Albania and the historical significance of raising the flag is the date when the legendary commander Adem Jashari was born, it is also the date when the Kosovo Liberation Army appeared in public for the first time and all these give a much greater meaning to the November holidays”, said the President.

The President congratulated all Albanians everywhere for this important holiday, “Honoring the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives and toil for our freedom, I want today to wish all Albanians everywhere for this important holiday of ours for this “An important joint holiday, hoping that a bright future awaits both the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo”, the President emphasized.
