Prekaz, March 5th 2020 – President of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Mayor of Drenas Ramiz Lladrovci, paid homage at the “Adem Jashari” memorial complex in Prekaz in honour of the KLA Epopee.
President Thaçi said that we are marking the days of the Kosovo Liberation Army Epopee, days when the legendary commander Adem Jashari, the Jashari family, did what no one in the world has done, the most sublime sacrifice for freedom, liberation and national unification.
“The heroic war of the legendary commander and of the Jashari family is the honour and the pride of the nation. At the same time it is the guide to the future, for the state of Kosovo, for the Albanian nation, for our future, in order to become as fast as possible part of NATO and of EU, to become a developed country, a land of progress, a land in which each citizen will feel good to live in, and to feel proud. Therefore, once again glory to the martyrs of the nation, glory to the legendary commander Adem Jashari and God bless the Jashari family,” said President Thaçi.
