At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, the President of the Republic of Hungary Mrs. Katalin Novák is staying in Kosovo on an official visit, accompanied by the First Gentleman Mr. Veres István Attila.
In the framework of this visit, the First Gentleman Prindon Sadriu and his counterpart Mr. Veres István Attila, carried out a number of joint activities.
After the joint meeting at which they discussed the relations between Kosovo and Hungary and the ties between the two countries, Mr. Sadriu and Mr. István Attila met the Olympic world champion in judo, Mrs. Majlinda Kelmendi and the well-known coach Driton Kuka.
During this meeting, the achievements of the Republic of Kosovo in the sport of judo and the cooperation with the Hungarian Judo Association were discussed.
During the day both First Gentlemen, Prindon Sadriu and István Attila paid tribute at the “Heroines” memorial.
Mr. Sadriu and Mr. István Attila also visited the Museum of Independence of Kosovo – Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, where they had a chance to see a part of the historical president's political engagements documented through photographs.
