Acting President, Dr. Vjosa Osmani received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Norway in Kosovo, Mr. Jens Erik Grøndahl. On this occasion, Mr. Grøndahl, on behalf of the state he represents, offered the Acting President full support for the new task and reaffirmed his country’s readiness to stand by Kosovo in addressing the challenges the country is facing.
Osmani highly praised Norway’s commitment in Kosovo and especially the support provided in the field of economy during the pandemic.
Acting President, Dr. Osmani thanked Mr. Grøndahl for its continued support and highly praised the constructive presence and partnership offered by Norway. At the meeting, special focus was placed on the challenges that have arisen as a result of the pandemic as well as the need for full mobilization in support of the measures for economic recovery. In this regard, Mr. Grøndahl confirmed that a special part of their engagement portfolio will be in this area.
At the meeting thewe was also discussed about the recent political developments in the country.
