The Acting President of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca in a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Mission, Michael Davenport received congratulations on the new task. The Head of the OSCE has expressed the readiness to further assist Kosovo in the democratization process. Mr. Davnport, at the same time congratulated Mr. Konjufca for the standard that Kosovo has set with the regularity of the last electoral process, encouraging the reform of the electoral system.
Whereas Acting President Konjufca also congratulated Mr. Davenport on his assignment and thanked the OSCE for its continued support, stressing the importance of establishing new institutions as soon as possible.
Acting President Konjufca emphasized that the successful completion of this process will be when the constitution of the Assembly and the Government of Kosovo will be followed by the election of the President of the country.
