The Acting President of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani, pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, decided today to terminate the mandate in the Central Election Commission, of the representative of the Serb List, Mr. Nenad Rikalo.
This decision was taken after Mr. Rikalo, took a senior position in the so-called “Office for Kosovo”, days ago from the Government of Serbia.
“Pursuant to Article 90 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Article 6 of Law No. 03/L-094 on the President of the Republic of Kosovo (OG No. 47, January 25, 2009), Article 61 (paragraph 5, points a and d) of Law No. 03/L-073 on the General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo (OG No. 31, June 15, 2008), Article 3 (paragraph 4) of Regulation (P) No. 02/2016 on the organizational structure of the Presidency (08.09.2016), as well as taking into account the letter of the Central Election Commission, received in the Office of the President on 20.11.2020 (Prot. No.: 1240)” issues: Decision: 1. The mandate of Mr. Nenad Rikalo, as a Member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kosovo is terminated. 2. The decision enters into force on the date of signature”, it is stated in the decision of Acting President Osmani.
