On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the declaration of Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received felicitations from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck and President of the Republic of Austria, Dr. Heinz Fischer.
At his letter, President Gauck states:
Madam President,
On the Independence day of the Republic of Kosovo, on my personal behalf and on behalf of my fellow countrymen, would like to express to you and to the citizens of your country my cordial felicitations.
As far as Kosovo’s internal and external policy is concerned, Kosovo during last year continued to further consolidate and to become more economically stable.
I am fully confident that Republic of Kosovo during the coming years will continue to follow the road of integration into European Union and in the international community in general. Germany will support your country with all its capacities as a partner in the future as well.
I would like to wish you prosperity; and to all the citizens of Kosovo I wish a good future in peace, freedom and wellbeing.
