The President of Republic of Kosovo Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu received the Admiral Mark Fitzgerald, Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, who was being accompanied by the COMKFOR General Markus Bentler.
The meeting discussed cooperation between institutions of Republic of Kosovo and NATO and developments in the country, and President Sejdiu updated Admiral Mark Fitzgerald on new evolutions that followed the unequivocal and explicit opinion of the International Court of Justice about the independence of our country.
He also thanked the NATO for its continuous support to our country in maintaining the integrity of and stability in our country and for training and building the professional capacities of the Kosovo Security Force.
On his part, Admiral Fitzgerald reaffirmed KFOR’s support to the security in Kosovo.
