Prishtina, February 19, 2018 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today in a meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Shahriar Alam.
The Head of State expressed gratitude to Minister Alam for participating in the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the independence.
“We are grateful for the recognition of the state of Kosovo. Your recognition has come at a very important time for Kosovo. We will always be grateful”, emphasized the Head of State, while requesting to deepen the cooperation between the two countries even more.
Whereas the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Shahriar Alam, assured President Thaçi that the cooperation between Bangladesh and Kosovo will continue.
At the end of the meeting President Thaçi requested from Minister Alam the support of Bangladesh in the process of Kosovo’s membership into international organizations.
