The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, with his invitation received today with the highest state honors, the President of the Republic of Albania, Bujar Nishani.
After the state ceremony, the two Presidents held the joint tête-à-tête meeting and then also the joint meeting of the two delegations, during which the mutual cooperation between the two countries was highly praised.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, highly praising the outstanding work for Albania, for the Albanian nation of the President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Bujar Nishani, highly praising the outstanding contribution to the issue of the state of Kosovo, his commitment to Kosovo’s new recognitions, for Kosovo’s membership in many international organizations, for the affirmation in the international arena awarded him “The Order of Freedom”.
“Praising very high this historic period of our country, of your five year leadership of the Albanian state and the extraordinary support for Kosovo, respecting the Constitution of Kosovo and the laws of Kosovo, allow me that, on behalf of the institutions of the country, on behalf of the Presidency, on my own behalf, to grant to you today, in sign of gratitude “The Order of Freedom”, said President Thaçi.
The Order of Freedom is awarded to personalities for the outstanding and highly praised contribution for freedom, independence and the consolidation of the state of Kosovo, added President Thaçi.
Whereas, the President of the Republic of Albania, Bujar Nishani, thanking President Thaçi for his high appreciation, said that it is an emotion to receive such a medal, because no one and not any other country knows the importance of the dimension of freedom better than Kosovo.
“The emotion is natural. An emotion for everyone especially to be granted the medal of freedom in Kosovo and by the President of Kosovo. Because, no one and no people, no country knows the importance of the dimension of freedom better than Kosovo. No country and no people have contributed and sacrificed more than Kosovo to gain freedom. No one more than Kosovo and the people of Kosovo have addressed the dimension of freedom in a dignified manner”, said President Nishani
