Prishtina, June 20th 2020 – President of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi received today the letters of credence of the non-residential Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea to Kosovo, Diallo Mamadou Siradiou.
While congratulating the Ambassador on his new tenure, President Thaçi stated that he is pleased that the Republic of Guinea has for the first time appointed an Ambassador to the republic of Kosovo.
“I welcome the advancement of our bilateral relations and I support the expansion of cooperation and bringing closer of Kosovo to Guinea and your region,” said President Thaçi.
Ambassador Siradiou conveyed the congratulation of the president of the Republic of Guinea Alpha Condé and stated his pleasure on his new tenure and that he will be looking for opportunities to advance this cooperation.
President Thaçi thanked the Republic of Guinea for the recognition of the Republic of Kosovo and for the support that this republic has provided to Kosovo in international organisations and forums.
