Prishtina, January 24 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, received the credential letters of the new Ambassador of Bulgaria in our country, Hristo Gudjev.
President Thaçi, while congratulating him on his new assignment, expressed Ambassador Gudjev his gratitude for the support of Bulgaria granted to Kosovo and the efforts for peace and stability in our entire region.
“We are grateful for the excellent bilateral relations and also for the support that Bulgaria offers to Kosovo in international organizations”, stated President Thaçi and added that “of special importance is the support in the EU institutions”.
Ambassador Gudjev stated that Bulgaria supports the Euro-Atlantic perspective if Kosovo and that it is committed to membership of the entire region in the European Union.
