Prishtina, February 2, 2018 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met today a delegation from Ulcinj headed by Nazif Cungu, Mayor of Ulcinj, and composed of Genci Nimanbegu, Vice-President of the Assembly of Montenegro, and Faik Nika, Vice-President of the new Democratic Force.
At the meeting there was discussed about the political developments in Montenegro, with particular emphasis on the Albanian political entities, which play a constructive role on the political scene, both locally and centrally.
Furtheron, the need for better coordination of the Albanian political factor, to be present and representative in the municipal assemblies with more Albanian population was emphasized.
President Thaçi guaranteed the delegation from Ulcinj for continued cooperation between the political entities of the Albanians of Montenegro and the institutions of Kosovo, in favor of creating policies that strengthen Montenegro as a democratic state and a member of NATO.
