Ottawa, Canada, November 20 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, at the beginning of his visit to Canada, put today a wreath of flowers at the Peace and Reconciliation Monument in Ottawa.
Canada is among the world’s main countries contributing to peacekeeping missions in the world. The memorial was set up in honor of this Canadian goal and in the memory of the Canadian soldiers who have served or gave their life serving in peacekeeping missions in the world.
President Thaçi said that peace, dialogue and cooperation are the values and principles that bring Canada and Kosovo together.
