Prishtina, June 11th – Upon an invitation by the World Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA), the Montreal Conference, President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has departed for a visit to Canada.
Together with the former Canadian Prime Minister (1993-2003), Jean Chrétien, President Thaçi will be one of the panellist at the “Europe at Crossroads “conference.
This panel will be discussing the future of the European Union, post Brexit and rise of the Euroscepticism.
President Thaçi will also be talking on the European perspective of the western Balkans countries.
Under the auspices of this forum, President Thaçi is also expected to a number of meetings with representatives of various countries around the world and push forward the agenda of bilateral cooperation.
IEFA organises annual summits, attended by heads of states, central bank governors, ministers and economy decision makers of the global level.
Participants of this forum are personalities from the world of business, heads of states and various representatives of governments, international organization and civil society.
