Prishtina, October 01 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, in the beginning of this week will officially visit the Republic of Albania.
During his stay in Albania on the 3rd and 4th of October, President Thaçi will meet with the heads of state.
On Monday (October 3rd), at 09:00 hrs., President Thaçi will be received with a state ceremony by the President of Albania, Bujar Nishani. Whereas, at 10:30 hrs., the two Presidents will hold a joint press conference.
After the meeting with President Nishani, at 11:00 hrs., President Thaçi will be received by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, and at 13:30 hrs. he will also meet with the President of the Assembly of Albania, Mr. Ilir Meta.
After the meetings with the heads of state, President Thaçi will visit the family of writer Dritëro Agolli.
Whereas, at 16:30 hrs., President Thaçi will also meet with the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Lulzim Basha.
The following day (October 4th), at 09:00 hrs., President Thaçi will place wraths of flowers at the monument “Mother Albania”.
Whereas, at 09:30 hrs., in the city hall of Tirana he will meet with Mayor Erion Velijaj.
After this meeting, before heading to the Municipality of Shkodra, President Thaçi will also place wreaths of flowers at the statue of Adem Jashari in Tirana.
Whereas, at noon, around 13:00 hrs, in Bushat, Shkodra, President Thaçi will visit the Kosovo national team players, who are doing their final preparations for the match with Croatia.
