New York, September 24 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met with the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ueli Maurer, in the framework of the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
President Thaçi has expressed his satisfaction about the cooperation between the two countries.
“Switzerland has been and remains one of Kosovo’s biggest supporters”, stated President Thaçi.
President Maurer said that Switzerland continues to support Kosovo in its European Union aspiration.
“The Kosovo-Swiss community is a bridge between us”, said President Thaçi.
