Prishtina, October 16th 2018 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, , awarded today at a separate ceremonies the Medal of the Tenth Anniversary of the Independence to Loris Castriota Skanderbeg, Reto Nause and Gjon Berisha.
President Thaçi thanked them for their contribution to the promotion of Kosovo and their engagement in preservation, cultivation and promotion of the Albanian values.
The descendant of our national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti – Skënderbeu, Loris Castriota Skanderbeg was praised by President Thaçi for his incarnation with values, traditions, Albanian history and his engagement for the preservation, cultivation and promotion of these values.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Swiss politician Reto Nausen for his contribution to the promotion of Kosovo in Switzerland and for the support provided to the Kosovar community in Switzerland.
President also thanked the activist Gjon Berisha for his continuous support to all Albanians in diaspora, before and after the war.
The awardees thanked President Thaçi for the appreciation of their activities and the honour bestowed upon them by the Republic of Kosovo.
