Prishtina, November 15th 2018 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, awarded today the KFOR Commander, Salvatore Cuoci, the Military Medal for Service in Kosovo.
President Thaçi said that General major Salvatore Cuoci, whose mandate in our country is nearing its end, has lead the KFOR with the professionalism of a superior military officer.
“You have looked after not only the KFOR troops, but have also been attentive to all the developments in Kosovo and in the region. We highly praise the cooperation with all the institutions of Kosovo in guaranteeing of security”, said President Thaçi.
KFOR Commander, Salvatore Cuoci, thanked President Thaçi for the cooperation and for the appreciation of his engagement in Kosovo.
“We will continue with our dedication to the peace in Kosovo”, said General Cuoci.
President Thaçi, also thanked General major Salvatore Cuoci for the close cooperation with the Kosovo Security Force, in this important stage when it is preparing its transformation into the Kosovo Army.
