The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, departed today to the United States of America, where he will be attending the mortuary ceremonies and the funeral of the 41st President of the United States of America, George H. W. Bush.
The late former US President will be laid to rest in College Station, Texas.
In a sign of state and civic respect for the contribution given to the freedom of Kosovo by the 41st President of the United States of America, George H. W. Bush, President Thaçi announced that Wednesday shall be a day of state mourning in the Republic of Kosovo.
