The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, together with the Director of the USAID Mission in Kosovo, Lisa Magno, signed today the amendment to the bilateral cooperation agreement between the governments of the United States of America and Kosovo.
With this amendment, an additional 34 million US Dollars are pledged by the United States of America, thus raising the total sum of the US pledged funds to 198 US Dollars, and all the funds shall be administered by the United States International Development Agency (USAID).
All the funds are dedicated to supporting Kosovo towards greater sustainability.
Since 1999 to date, USAID has invested on behalf of the American people over 920 US Dollars in supporting Kosovo towards self-sustainability.
