Tirana, October 03, 2016 – In the context of his official visit to Albania, President Thaçi has also met with the President of the Parliament of Albania, Ilir Metën.
With the President of the Assembly, Meta, President Thaçi has talked about the role that the Assembly of Albania can have in lobbying and supporting Kosovo’s membership in international organizations.
President Thaçi said that by deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation with other countries, together, more can be achieve in terms of advancing the position of Kosovo in the international arena.
Whereas, the President of the Assembly, Meta, has said that at every international meeting, on top of his agenda and on the agenda of the representatives of the Assembly of Albania is Kosovo and the lobbying to strengthen its subjectivity.
President Thaçi and the President of the Assembly, Meta, also discussed about the importance of the continued cooperation at the level of parliamentary committees between the parliaments of both countries, Kosovo and Albania.
