Prishtina, September 18th 2018 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the Italian defence minister, Elisabetta Trenta.
With the Italian defence Minister President Thaçi discussed the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia, strengthening of good neighbourliness and stability in western Balkans, as well as the KSF transformation process into Kosovo’s Armed Forces.
“I thank you for the continuous support which Italy has provided and is continuing to provide to Kosovo” With your backing, and the support of other NATO member states, Kosovo Security Force has become a multi ethnic, professional force, with NATO standards”, said President Thaçi.
The defence Minister of the Republic of Italy, Elisabetta Trenta, stated that Italy will continue to support Kosovo Security Force and its members with trainings in the field of logistics.
President Thaçi and Italian minster Trenta also spoke about the support which Kosovo Security Force will receive through the Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed today by both states.
