Prishtina, June 15th 2020 – President of the country Hashim Thaçi received at a meeting today Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, with whom he discussed the political processes, COVID-19 pandemic and the economic revival.
President Thaçi said that fortunately the political situation has returned to normal and we must now establish the political unity that will join us all together in the process of the dialogue with Serbia.
Prime Minister Hoti also said that Kosovo needs to create an all-encompassing team at this final stage of the dialogue with Serbia, team which must also include the opposition political parties.
President Thaçi and Prime Minister Hoti expressed their concerns related to the increase of the number of individuals infected with COVID-19.
“The recommendations of the Public Health Institute must be strictly adhered to,” said President Thaçi.
The head of state and the head of the executive agreed that interinstitutional coordination is necessary in order for Kosovo to successfully overcome the forthcoming challenges. ​
