Prishtina, October 10th – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received the credentials from the new Ambassador of Croatia, Danijela Barisic.
President Thaçi initially congratulated her on the new assignment, offering cooperation to strengthen the relations between our two people and our states.
He thanked Croatia for the support it has given Kosovo in all fields, especially in the field of Euro-Atlantic integration.
“Croatia is an important partner of Kosovo. Our good relations should also expand in economy, education and culture”, said the President.
On the other hand, Croatia’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Danijela Barisic, has stressed that her country will continue its support for Kosovo, while it is committed to strengthen relations between the two states.
At the end President Thaçi has said that the Western Balkan states must follow the path of Croatia’s reforms towards NATO and European Union membership.
