The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, during her visit to New
York, United States of America, met many of our compatriots, who over the years have
given tremendous support to our fight for freedom.
“On behalf of all the citizens and institutions of Kosovo, I thanked them for the contribution given over the decades and without which we would not be where we are today”, President Osmani said.
The head of state also added that Kosovo aspires Euro-Atlantic integration, the EU, NATO and the UN, hence the contribution of our diaspora in America and elsewhere, as it once was, is still decisive even today.
“With the support of our esteemed diaspora, Kosovo will be stronger internally, and more consolidated internationally”, said President Osmani.
