Republic of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has today accepted congratulations telegrams from Confederation of Switzerland President Guy Parmelli, Bulgaria's Rumen Radev and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Temim Bin Hamed Al-Thani.
President Parmellin in the letter of congratulations has mentioned the close and cordial relations between Switzerland and Kosovo.
“Because of the Kosovo diaspora in Switzerland, our two countries are also in powerful human and cultural ties,” the Swiss President's telegram says. He has mentioned President Osmani's visit to his state in March and stressed that it has paved the way for further co-operation to deepen. President Parmellin has stressed that the stability and progress of the Western Balkans is in the interests of both states.
In the Bulgarian President's telegram of wishing, it is noted that Bulgaria will continue to support the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the Republic of Kosovo.
“I am convinced that by working together, we will contribute to the deepening of open and effective dialogue between our two friendly countries, as well as to increasing the stability and prosperity of our region by promoting the principles of good neighbourliness and EU values”, president Radev's telegram says.
The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamed Al-Thani, followed President Osmani with sincere congratulations on the occasion of taking office, expressing the highest considerations as well as congratulating her on leading the country towards further development and progress.
