The President of the Republic of Kosova Vjosa Osmani Sadriu received at a meeting the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania Mrs. Vitore Tusha, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Gresa Caka-Nimani and a delegation consisting of representatives of the justice systems of both countries.
During this meeting, President Osmani called for cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice through sharing of best practices, in the benefit of the citizens of both countries.
President Osmani also stressed the importance to the justice system of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe system, which will enable the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo a further degree of protection of their rights. Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe would directly affect the quality of court verdicts and will consequently improve the justice system.
The members of this delegation met with the President of the Republic of Kosovo after holding a two-day conference on the exchange of practices between the justice systems of the two countries.
