The President of the Republic Vjosa Osmani received the Kosovar basketball player Edona Thaqi, who is attaining a successful career in the elite NBA basketball league in the USA.
President Osmani congratulated basketball player Thaqi on her achievements in basketball and emphasized that her affirmation is also an affirmation of Kosovo in the international arena, where Kosovar girls are carrying out illustrious performances in many sportive disciplines.
Ms. Thaqi announced that during the summer she will be holding a training camp with young female basketball players with coaches from abroad.
