President Osmani received the Italian Ambassador, Nicola Orlando

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Italian Ambassador Nicola Orlando.

The two interlocutors discussed about the latest political developments in the country.


President Osmani informed Ambassador Orlando about the continuous coordination with the new institutions, as well as the full commitment for cooperation with the partners and friends of Kosovo, in order to advance the promised reforms as soon as possible.


According to her, the results of such cooperation were recently seen with the action against transnational organized crime, which was the result of the joint work of the police of the region and other countries. In this regard, President Osmani expressed full gratitude for the assistance of Italy and stressed that such a development is confirmation of the reason and need for Kosovo’s membership into INTERPOL.


Whereas, Ambassador Orlando has stressed that the Italian state will continue to support Kosovo in the fulfillment of the reforms, highlighting, among others, the full commitment and continuous support in the field of strengthening the role of women in every field.
