President Osmani received the credentials of the Ambassador of Malta Juliana Scerri Ferrante

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received today the credentials from the Ambassador of Malta to Kosovo, Juliana Scerri Ferrante.
Relations between the two countries have been praised as good since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2011.

President Osmani thanked the state of Malta for the assistance so far, asking that this support continues in the process of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, EU, NATO, and other international organizations.

"Visas need to be liberalized, there is no reason for further delays. It is the right moment for Kosovo to become part of the Council of Europe, just as it is a necessity to join NATO for the stability in the region," said President Osmani, while receiving the confirmation of Ambassador Ferrante that Malta will continue to support Kosovo in all its membership initiatives, as it has done so to date.

Both interlocutors expressed interest in the expansion of relations in the fields of foreign policy, trade exchange, education, tourism and other areas of mutual interest.
