President Osmani met today with the Commissioner for Information and Privacy Krenare Sogojeva.
President Osmani stated that the Agency for Information and Privacy, at the head of which was Mrs. Sogojeva recently elected at, is an important state institution that protects the indisputable right of the country's citizens to privacy.
As such, this agency will have the support of the institutions of Kosovo in order to ensure that it will carry out its duty in accordance with the law and the mandate it has in order for the citizens of the country to benefit from its work.
On the other hand, the newly elected Commissioner for Information and Privacy Mrs. Sogojeva thanked President Osmani for the reception and assured her that she would do everything in her power to strengthen the role of the agency so that the agency provides full protection of the privacy of the citizens of the republic.
