The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani received in a meeting the Charge d'Affaires of Japan to Kosovo, Mr. Ogasawara Mitsunori.
He congratulated President Osmani on her appointment and also handed over the congratulatory letter of Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.
Both sides have expressed readiness for the good relations between the two countries to continue to deepen further.
President Osmani thanked Charge d'Affaires Mitsunori for Japan’s support to Kosovo over the years, especially in the field of health and environment.
Mrs. Osmani emphasized the commitment of the Kosovar institutions to ensure vaccines for all the citizens of Kosovo and in this context, asked for assistance from the Japanese state.
President Osmani expressed happiness that the team of Kosovo will participate with prominent athletes in the Tokyo Olympics.
