The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani – Sadriu, received today in a meeting the Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku.
President Osmani said that the opposition parties have a key role in the processes of special importance for the country.

The opposition parties have a key role of special importance for the country. Therefore, today I received in a meeting the Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku. I congratulated him for the constructive role that the LDK played during the process of concluding the formation of the institutions after the February 14 elections.
I assured Mr. Abdixhiku that the institution of the Presidency will always be in the service of the strengthening of cooperation and dialogue between political parties, with special emphasis on topics of national interest. In this regard, I welcome the contribution of all political parties of the opposition on issues related to the state interest and the well-being of the citizens.
With Mr. Abdixhiku we agreed to continue discussions on topics that require broad political and social consensus.
